Last week I was in Orlando at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort speaking at the 33rd Annual Institute of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). More than 400 matrimonial attorneys, forensic CPAs, and other professionals were present at this very attractive venue. This was the first time I had addressed this group, and it was a pleasure to be there. I spoke on two topics, LinkedIn and Buy-Sell Agreements.
The LinkedIn presentation was designed to introduce LinkedIn to fellow professionals. I do not pretend to be ”LinkedIn guru.” In fact, I may be as challenged as many with some aspects of the platform. But we have worked to incorporate LinkedIn into my personal marketing efforts as well as incorporate its use into Mercer Capital’s marketing efforts over the past couple of years, where we show the LinkedIn connection button on our resumes.
The powerpoint deck for my LinkedIn presentation is available on my LinkedIn Profile at Slideshare Presentations. While you are at my Profile to take a look at the LinkedIn presentation, please ask me to connect with you. I wrote a primer on LinkedIn, Professional Services Networking: Your LinkedIn Primer, which is also available for download from my Profile.
For the buy-sell agreements presentation, it was a pleasure to share the platform with Norman Kronstadt, CPA, ASA. Together, we shared a number of insights about buy-sell agreements that are applicable in the matrimonial arena. The overheads for this presentation are also available on my LinkedIn Profile.
